Welcome aboard!

Dockside Wrangell is a small, private float house (think “tiny house” that floats) just five minutes drive around the bay from the center of town – or eight minutes on your Rad Power Bikes bicycle (provided). Built on a locally sourced, solid cedar deck, it is a self-contained home with an open loft bedroom. There is a full kitchen/bath (with biodegradable products throughout), in-floor heat, washer and indoor clothes line. This well-organized home is suitable for a single person or couple during a vacation or work stint in Wrangell.

Moored in the local’s harbor, this cedar-clad itty-bitty vacation rental bobs in the heart and soul of Wrangell. Because of the well-planned layout, tall ceilings, and massive windows, the space feels open and airy. From the loft, a queen bed looks out onto the bay while below a full kitchen, washer and clothes line, and in-floor heating system gives Dockside all the creature comforts.

The float house is hands down the best place to stay in Wrangell. The clean, simple and comfortable space has everything you need including a hot (and beautifully tiled) shower, a thoughtfully laid-out kitchen, and a cozy sleeping loft. At night, light from the harbor shimmers and dances on the ceiling. In the morning, step out the door into the heart of an Alaskan fishing village. For comfort, style, and authenticity, the float house can’t be beat.
